Such a sad, sad state of affairs. Then we wonder why people grow up feeling entitled. Of course they're entitled... to time, attention, acknowledgement, validation and the novel concept of just hanging out with people they love.

I wonder what age they judge children to be up to.
Both of my parents are working - my mum runs her own business from home from 8.30am to 6pm and by Dad works as an accountant from about 9-2 every day, but then does work for other companies at home during the afternoon.
My 13 year old sister for example chooses not to spend time with my parents. She'll come down for meals and before she goes to bed, but apart from that shes usually in her room by herself on the computer.
On the other-hand, I'll normally spend 1 to 2 hours a day with my parents talking about whats happening etc. Perhaps that's because I'm more of a young adult though.
